These terms cover the Tambola Night: Housie & Bingo app for iOS and Android, the website at housie-caller.vercel.app including the browser host at /host, and any companion listing of the same service (for example in a meeting-platform marketplace). Together they are “the service”. By installing or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
The service is a number-calling and game-hosting tool for tambola, housie and bingo games that you run yourself, in person or over a call. It draws numbers, shows a board, deals digital tickets or cards to players who join your room, and checks claims against the numbers called. It does not run games itself, hold stakes, pay out prizes or arrange anything of value between players.
The service contains no real-money play, no betting, no wagering, no prizes of value and no simulated gambling. Anything a host chooses to offer to players outside the app is the host’s own decision and responsibility. Hosts must follow the laws that apply where they and their players are, including laws on prize competitions, lotteries and gambling. In particular, do not charge an entry fee for a game with prizes unless you have confirmed that is lawful where you are. We are not a party to any such arrangement.
Playing never requires an account. A host may sign in with Google or Apple to back up purchases across devices. Players join a room with a code and choose a display name; names and reactions are shown to everyone in that room. Keep them decent. Rooms and their data are deleted automatically within 48 hours. A host may remove any player from a room at any time.
Players always play free. Your first hosted game is free with everything switched on. After that, hosts may watch a short optional video for in-game extras or buy premium games, voice packs and other add-ons as one-time purchases through the App Store or Google Play. There are no subscriptions. Purchases are subject to the store’s own terms and refund rules; premium games are consumed when a game starts and are not refundable once used. Downloadable voice packs are licensed for use inside the app only.
Do not use the service to run unlawful games, to harass other players, to interfere with rooms you do not host, to reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service, or to resell it. We may suspend access for misuse.
The online room features depend on network connectivity and third-party infrastructure and may be unavailable from time to time. The single-device caller works offline. We may change, pause or withdraw features, and update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. The current version is always at this address.
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including disputes over claims, prizes or game outcomes, beyond the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You can delete your account and its data at any time via delete-account.
